Jennifer Lopez has just debuted her newest music video for her single "I Luh Ya Papi" last Thursday, March 13, during the telecast of "American Idol," Just Jared reported. The music video, which features rapper French Montana, is Lopez's first attempt to slam music videos' trend in profusely objectifying women by letting men do the undressing "for no reason." The motive of this anti-norm music video has been brought up at the very start of the video. Lopez, together with her two girl friends, is in a pitch meeting for the video shoot. A male representative from the recording company is suggesting to film the video at a water park, a carnival, or at a zoo. However, the three women reject all the ideas, as they are bursting into laughter every after proposal. Then one of Lopez's friends interrupts "If she [Lopez] was a guy, we wouldn't be having this conversation at all." "They would seriously have her up in a mansion with all these half-naked girls, or maybe even in a yacht! You know how they stage you in a yacht scene, champagne, drinking-," the other one added. Then finally the question "Why do men always objectify the women, in every single video?" is thrown by the first friend, and ends up suggesting "Why can't we, for once, objectify the men?" "The video can start with her on a bed with a bunch of naked guys," the second friend proposes, and then the two friends exclaimed "for no reason!" at the same time, followed by chuckles. After which, the actual music video began rolling with Lopez singing, featuring all sorts of hot and sexy men one could possibly think of. There are several half naked guys only in their undies, there are topless men in jeans showing off their muscular physique while washing cars, and studs in their tight swimming trunks sunbathing in a yacht. The video has several up-close shots showing men's abs, bulge, and butt, sticking true to its goal to objectify men. "I Luh Ya Papi" is the lead single of Lopez's upcoming eighth studio album. The Jessy Terrero-directed music video has already reached more than 1.7 million views as of writing.
